Flagshipstore Polaroid
For this project I choose the brand Polaroid, because of my interest and affinity with photography. In this way I create a stage for the first brand that invented instant film, Polaroid. This brand makes it possible to capture the most beautiful and purest moments in life.
Reflect on the purest moments in life and be surrounded by the most

The design of this flagship store was made to give Polaroid a nice stage. This concept mainly consists of exhibiting art in the form of photography, the starting point is the gallery, in which Polaroid plays a leading role in the way art photographs are exhibited.
Brand Manual
A brand manual has been developed to make it clear to the customers, but also the employees of Polaroid what the brand stands for. Things like logo, font and color are discussed in the brand manual.
Photoframe
To give the visitors of the flagship store a nice but relatively inexpensive keepsake, an idea has come up for a photo frame. To involve the vistitors more, they can take Polaroids photos of themselves or from the pieces of art inside the store, as a beautiful memory. The moments that are captured in the photo, can be
kept in this photoframe.
The frame is made out of sturdy black paper, with folding edges. In this way, the users can fold it themselves. Two cuts have been made in the paper so that the corners of the
polaroid fit into them.
Wayfinding
To make it clear to visitors where they want to and can go, a wayfinding has been designed, which suits Polaroid as a brand itself. In the design, the well known Polaroid frame is reflected. As you can see, the multiple layers, where a Polaroid photo is consisting of, are also
reflected in the wayfinding.
In this prototype, the well-known format of the Polaroid photos has been used (10.2 x 12.7 cm for the frame and 9 x 9 cm for the photo). This format can then be scaled in the future.The outer two layers of the 'wayfinding' consist of plywood, between these layers is another layer of plexiglass.
Poster
This poster consist out of a Polaroid camera that is redrawn from a regular Polaroid camera. As main color in the poster, the orange color from
the Polaroid Logo, is used.
